Who am I?

I am a 27-year-old IL native who grew up in a very small town (Winnebago, IL) I married my "college sweetheart" Jeremy in 2007 on the campus of our beautiful alma mater, Augustana College.  I transplanted to Central IL, and we have since started off in the adventure of married life together...going on three years :)! I am a pediatric speech-language pathologist and am passionate about my career. I truly love kids (most of the time ;) ),working out (particularly marathon training), bike rides and anything active with Jer, spending time with family and friends (which often means we have to travel on many weekends), reading, playing the piano (and teaching lessons!), knitting, crafting, and scrapbooking. I was diagnosed with gluten intolerance in 2008, which has meant some major lifestyle changes. I am so thankful for my pre-children life right now and the chance to experience life with my husband...but am looking forward to the future and sharing it with some little ones! :)
While sometimes I think that blogging is kinda nerdy, I really do enjoy it.  I love writing...ever since seventh grade when my (possibly delusional....sorry Miss Smith! ;)) language arts teacher told me that she expected to see my writing published someday.  Ha!  While I do pride myself on not being particularly delusional (although my husband may tell you otherwise! ;) HA!)....I would love to actually write something that is published someday.  BUT, that will likely not happen.  ANYWAY, I really just do write for my own silly enjoyment.  However, I have been contacted by a number of people telling me that my gluten free blog has provided them with useful information and pertinent advice about gluten free living...and that makes me happy :).  I do love to help others...and I think it's wonderful if someone, somewhere can derive some sort of useful tidbit of knowledge from my crazy rambling :).
Ok, enough out of me!
Have a wonderful day...and thanks for stopping by!
