Three years of marriage, that is! :)
September 22, 2010 will be our third anniversary!
How are we planning to celebrate, you ask? Well, nothing too big is in the works....
I thought about taking the day off of work (it is a Wednesday), however that morning I am currently scheduled to do speech evaluations on TRIPLETS. Ha! That wouldn't be an easy one to reschedule, so I think I'll just go for it :).
We'll probably go out to dinner that night...either Biaggi's or Herradura ;). Biaggi's will always hold a special place in our hearts (we went there for our first Valentine's Day together in 2002 in Davenport; and we had our wedding rehearsal dinner there in 2007 in Davenport...and we typically go there when my family comes to Bloomingotn for visits. We all LOVE us some Biaggi's!). AND, Lord knows we LOVE dirty Mexican food! Herradura is our top pick for Mexican restaurants right now :).
The weekend prior we are going to Chicago with our good friends Aaron and Katie Van Lauwe to see Dave Matthew's Band at Wrigley field. That will be a fun trip :). We plan on sneaking off for a solo dinner or lunch in Chicago to celebrate our anniversary with something special.
The weekend after is the Quad Cities Marathon!
Our first anniversary, Jeremy went all out planning a special surprise for us. I posted about it here and here...and here!
(And THAT, my friends, is one of the top reasons for blogging! How fun to be able to go back and read about one of my favorite memories from our marriage thus far?!)
Here's one of our favorite wedding photos...we have a LARGE version on canvas (so it looks kind of like a big painting) hanging above our piano in our living room.

My biggest "picture request" was that we had one really neat print blown up and printed like a painting. My good friend Jen has one like that in their house from her wedding to Matt and I've always loved it!
I'll leave you with this quote that I discovered once on my friend Tarah's blog:
"Getting married wasn't about settling down or having stability; it was about joining forces for an adventure neither of us could have alone. It was like standing at the edge of a cliff with rushing water beneath us. We were happy, terrified — and against all expectations, we jumped. But we were holding hands, and even if we were falling fast, we were together. Are together."

Being married....it's one of the best things ever, and also one of the hardest things ever :). Throw two stubborn people together in house and you're bound to have issues!! ;)
But, I love you Jeremy Christopher! Here's to many more years!
(I am working on an "official" "anniversary post"...but this will suffice as a "teaser" until the big day! ;) )
