Quote from this morning's family orientation at family day that i wanted to quickly record before I forgot.....

While discussing people who are late...

"There's always a rational excuse.....but it's always irrelevant"

And.....

As we were entering the base just now, waiting in the van in line for the ID check at the entrance, Dan says to my dad, gesturing toward the Marine at the checkpoint,

"Why dont you see if you can grab his gun before he does, Dad!"
