My brother is one of the best people I know. He is currently at Quantico in Virginia for six weeks of Marine Officer Candidacy School training. I couldn't be more proud of him. How many twenty-year-old boys (men? I guess I really should start referring to my baby brother as a man, as strange as that is to me...) do we really encounter who have the ability to think about something bigger than themselves...and to be prepared to sacrifice EVERYTHING for their country? For the freedom of people...many of whom will never fully understand or appreciate the sacrifice they are making. And some of whom will even ridicule our armed forces and voice feelings of not supporting the military.....
...ok....I need to finish these thoughts later...
